BLOG 3 - The Role of Technology in my Profession and Life

 Since I was a child I have not been very attached to technology, I could say that my relationship with her died with my dear play station 2, if we talk about a healthy relationship of course. I feel that my last 7 years I have been immersed in technology in a very insane way, who has not been mesmerized on instagram or some years ago, on facebook, doing nothing, consuming until feeling consumed, or worse, not realizing that we are consumed.


Since this generation was born, it has been justified that technology is a very useful tool, and I do not deny it, but let's be honest, most of the time on the Internet we are not doing something of our own free will and if we add that the excess of information denies the meaning of things, we are consuming something that we cannot digest against our will.

As an architecture student I have had to familiariza myself with the computer, contrary to how I thought, it has not been a bad experience, I think that seeing it as something I have to do, I have not felt bad and it has no generated any dependency. 



As I said a moment ago, I think it is important to recognize the good relationships with technology, and at this moment what I enjoy the most is listening to music on my turntable, not only because it sounds incredibly better than digital one, because of the The fact of not having the possibility to skip the songs helps me to understand that the appreciation of any art has no temporality.

BLOG 4 - My dream job

 Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about what our ideal job would be, what topics we would like to investigate in the future, which I don't think is bad, in this way we are exploring our tastes and interests. But the reality is that you never know what you will find on the way, and I am not talking about destination, I mean that interests and tastes are constantly changing and it is something natural and I think that being closed to an idea does not allows exploration. In my case, studying architecture I have found many topics that I would like to investigate or work on in the future, and more and more topics are appearing, and I suppose that in the 4 years that I have left in my career, more and more will appear. So thinking about an ideal job at this point I think is unnecessary, even so I would like to share certain things that I imagine for the near future. Language

In terms of languages, Latin America has such a poor level of English because it is not really a necessity. With the exception of Brazil we all speak the same language. In addition to this, the English classes taught at school prioritize the writing and listening part over the speaking part. In my case, I have had English classes since I was 4 years old, I can read, listen and write English and make myself understood. However, since I do not have the need to be understood by another person who speaks another language, my spoken skills are very bad. Despite this, I think I can make myself understood.
